Givenchy S/S 1997 Haute Couture by Alexander McQueen

This was McQueen’s debut collection for Givenchy, succeeding John Galliano. The ensembles were inspired by Greek antiquity and contained many of the designer’s signature elements: embroidered corsets, ornamental headpieces, body-armor, florals, animal references, and classic tailoring.
